This short was written as soon as I wrote the first short. I had both ideas at the same time and although I considered having this be the first adventure, I thought it worked better as a follow-up. The response to the first short has been so great, I was really itching to get this story finished. Luckily Ryan had another window in his schedule not long after we released the first short.

I dusted off the old script quickly realized that it just wasn't good enough anymore. I actually rewrote this one quite a few times. I just couldn't really quite get a hang of the ending. Thankfully I have a really great support of writer friends (Robert James Russell, Wes Locher, Jeremy Holt, Ryan K. Lindsay etc) and when I am stuck or need encouragement, they are always there.

After bouncing around a few ideas I finally found one that stuck and I think this story is all the better for it. I couldn't be happier with how this one turned out. Ryan of course knocked it out of the park again. His colors on this one are incredible and I loved that he decided to set this at night. This is the beauty of collaborating in comics. When you work with great people they find ways to make the work better and when he suggested the idea, I thought it was perfect. I couldn't believe I hadn't thought of it, because looking at it now, I can't see it any other way.

An Android Jones short wouldn't be the same without Thomas on letters and he always brings his A-Game. Such an important piece to making this comic look great and Thomas always nails it.

I'm excited to see what further adventures Jones & PIP can get themselves into. These guys are just too much fun!

Enjoy!
