Last September I put together a pitch book for a 4 issue Android Jones mini series. The incredible Dylan Todd did the design of the book. I sent it around to some publishers and as it's been 7 months or so, I think it's safe to say either no one saw it or no one was interested. So i figured I would share it here for a couple of reasons.

Number one, Dylan did some an amazing job with the design and I want people to see his work.

Number two, I always see people asking for scripts, pitches, etc. If you are new to the business or trying to break in it's nice to have reference material from other people to give you a good idea of what you should be doing or even what NOT to be doing. Obviously since this has not been picked up I can't tell you this is what you should be doing, but maybe it will be helpful in some way.

Number three, maybe people will see this, think it's something they want to read and that could spark enough interest to actually get the book done...Maybe.

Number four, I'm really proud of this pitch and if the book doesn't get made, I wanted people to see what could have been.

I've posted other pitches on my site in the past (Blinded, Amulet of Isanove & Dash, Bradbury.) I've never included the full synopsis on those before. I am including it here because I approached the synopsis page differently for this story. I wrote it as if Android Jones himself was doing the pitch. Jones is such a fun character to write, I felt like his personality and general attitude should come through in the pitch document. The only way to really do that was let Jones do all the talking.
